New Job Reflection
Finally manage to find some extra free time to update my blog.
Has been super busy since started working at the St.James restaurant, almost full shift everyday which is about 11hrs!
Wow I never thought I can work so long as in the past I usually work 8 or 9 hrs only in all jobs. Too bad la in the past I not willing to sacrifice my time for work, I always thinking of enjoying life..haha
If not I think I won't be that broke already.. well well..
Alright so let's talk about the job.
$7/hr with 2 meals provided, extra tips allowance and free transport back home for those who worked after 12.
For me I think this is a really good pay job compare to many other F&B jobs outside.
Talking about the people there, all I can say is that there will always have some fucker around and some people who even don't know why they working there. Seen too much of these people already, can't find any words to describe them and I never have any worry towards them, you think you wanna fuck me up? Think twice before trying me.
Oh the restaurant is split into 4 sections which consist of 'Ah Wok', Japanese BBQ 'Charcoal', Alley Bar and selling Dim Sum at 'DRAGONFLY'! Currently I station both a 'Ah Wok' and 'Dragonfly'. I would say working at 'Dragonfly' is damn good lohx, own time own target, nobody will come and disturb you as long as you tried to sell your dim sum to all tables and can watch free performance over there too! Haha don't even need to pay or wait until the legal age to go in, tips money there is pretty good, all the customers over there are quite nice and friendly too. Oh one thing not to be missed, there's many babes and 'Lao Chio' over there..LOL
Although the fact that it is quite tiring job, the environment there is quite good and most of the fellow colleague are friendly and able to work as a team. Seriously I hope to stay in this job for long and I believe I will start enjoying working over there.
I never expect or should I say I try not to expect much from others, I won't care if you are my junior, senior, manager, boss or who ever, I will always do my part first and is up to you to decide whether to work together with me. I treat everyone more like a friend instead of rank difference and I'll be the first person to show some respect but don't treat this as a advantage over me.
School gonna starts in about two weeks time, looking forward for the new semester but on other hand it means poly life is getting nearer to an end. No mood to talk about school life now, so currently just focusing on performing well in my job, I'm quite glad that I have received more appreciation in this job compare to all my previous F&B jobs.
Hope everything will go fine and smooth, anyone who wanna meet me please tell me earlier in advance now so that I can make arrangement to my timing. The working time there is very flexible, so damn good la..LOL
